Object Work with Carl Clancy
Saturday, August 20 | 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Nothing quite elevates a scene like great object work, but it’s an often-overlooked skill. In this three hour workshop I’ll give you the tools you need to get more confident and precise with your object work, so you can create richer, more tangible environments on stage.
Skilful object work elevates every aspect of your improv; grounding your scenes in reality and helping you to create deeper, more truthful characters.
We’ll work on establishing objects and environments that matter to your characters, giving you plenty of specifics and emotional hooks that will help drive your scenes.
Improv experience required (Must have completed at least Level 1 – Intro to Improv at The CCB Training School or equivalent).
